The ST11 is a small diaphragm tube microphone. This microphone features a 20mm capsule with evaporated gold on Mylar diaphragm, new-old-stock military grade vacuum tube and premium high resolution electronics.

The ST11 combines the characteristics of the small diaphragm and the tube, making it an ideal choice for recording instruments. The small diaphragm allows the ST11 to exhibit an extremely fast response to changes in air pressure, generating an accurate sound; the tube lends the microphone its character, adding warmth and depth. The end result is a natural yet nuanced sound.

As with all Lauten Audio microphones, the ST11 is hand built with top-of-the-line electronics and carefully tuned capsule making it high quality precision instrument.
